Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript to the International Journal of Computer Engineering and Embedded Technologies, authors should verify that each of the following requirements has been met. Submissions found to be incomplete against this checklist may be returned to the author prior to editorial evaluation, which may delay the review process.

Scope and Originality

☐ The manuscript falls within the journal's Aim & Scope (computer engineering and embedded technologies).
☐ The manuscript reports original work and is not under consideration by any other journal.
☐ The manuscript, or a substantially similar version, has not been previously published elsewhere.

Manuscript Preparation

☐ The manuscript has been prepared using the journal's official Manuscript Template.
☐ Times New Roman font, standard margins, and line spacing have been used throughout, as specified in the template.
☐ The manuscript length falls within the recommended 6–12 pages, including references, figures, and tables.
☐ All section headings follow the required structure (Introduction, Related Work, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Declarations, References).

Title Page and Blinding

☐ A separate title page has been prepared, containing the full manuscript title, all author names, affiliations, and the corresponding author's email address.
☐ The main manuscript file (for review) is fully blinded, with no author names, affiliations, or identifying acknowledgments present in the body of the text.

Abstract and Keywords

☐ The abstract is a single paragraph of 150–250 words, with no citations or undefined abbreviations.
☐ Between 4 and 6 keywords have been provided, listed alphabetically and separated by semicolons.

Figures, Tables, and Equations

☐ All figures and tables are numbered sequentially and referenced in the text before they appear.
☐ Figure captions are placed below the figure; table captions are placed above the table.
☐ All figures are of sufficient resolution for clear reproduction.
☐ All equations are numbered sequentially in parentheses and referenced in the text.
☐ All abbreviations are defined at first use.

References

☐ All references follow IEEE numeric citation style and are cited in the text as numbers in square brackets.
☐ Every source cited in the text appears in the reference list, and every reference listed is cited in the text.
☐ References prioritize recent, peer-reviewed journal sources.

Originality and Ethics Screening

☐ The manuscript has been checked by the authors for originality prior to submission.
☐ The manuscript is prepared in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy.
☐ Where applicable, ethical approval for research involving human participants, animal subjects, or sensitive data has been obtained and is ready to be declared.

Authorship

☐ All listed authors have made a significant contribution to the work and have approved the final manuscript.
☐ All co-authors have agreed to the submission and to the order in which they are listed.

Required Declarations

☐ A Conflict of Interest statement is included.
☐ A Funding statement disclosing all sources of financial support is included.
☐ An Ethical Approval statement is included, or explicitly marked as not applicable.

Supporting Documents

☐ A cover letter is prepared, confirming originality, significance of the contribution, and author approval of the submission.
☐ The manuscript file is submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
☐ Any supplementary files, such as datasets or supporting figures, are properly labeled and referenced in the manuscript.

Fees

☐ Authors acknowledge that the journal does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or submission fees.

Final Verification

☐ All instruction boxes and placeholder text from the Manuscript Template have been removed.
☐ The manuscript has been proofread for language, grammar, and technical accuracy.
☐ All co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version prior to submission.
