Plagiarism Policy

The journal is committed to upholding academic integrity and ethical publishing practices. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious violation of scholarly standards and is not acceptable in submitted or published works.

1. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Presenting another person’s work, ideas, data, or words as one’s own without proper attribution

  • Reproducing substantial parts of previously published work without appropriate citation

  • Self-plagiarism, including redundant or duplicate publication without disclosure

  • Manipulation or misrepresentation of data or sources

2. Originality Requirement

All manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and acknowledged.

3. Plagiarism Screening

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software as part of the editorial evaluation process. Similarity reports are reviewed by the editorial team to assess the context, extent, and nature of any overlapping content.

4. Acceptable Similarity

Minor similarity resulting from common terminology, references, or standard methodological descriptions may be acceptable. However, substantial textual overlap, unattributed paraphrasing, or duplication of content may lead to editorial action.

5. Editorial Actions

If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the editorial or publication process, the journal may take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Requesting clarification or revision from the author(s)

  • Rejection of the manuscript

  • Retraction of a published article

  • Notification to the author’s institution or relevant authorities, when necessary

All actions are taken in accordance with established editorial procedures and ethical considerations.

6. Author Responsibility

Authors bear full responsibility for the originality and integrity of their submissions. Proper citation of all sources, including previously published work by the same author(s), is mandatory.

7. Post-Publication Review

Allegations of plagiarism received after publication are investigated thoroughly. Where necessary, corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions are issued to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Statement of Commitment

The journal is dedicated to fostering responsible research practices and preserving the credibility of academic publishing through strict adherence to plagiarism prevention and ethical standards.
