Article Processing Charges (APC) / Fee Policy
The International Journal of Computer Engineering and Embedded Technologies does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or fees of any kind. This policy has been established in accordance with the standards expected by international abstracting and indexing bodies, including Scopus and Web of Science, and follows the transparency principles set out by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) regarding the disclosure of publication fees.
No Charges to Authors
The journal does not levy any fee at any stage of the publication process. Authors are not required to pay for manuscript submission, editorial processing, peer review, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, publication, or online hosting of their article. Publication in the journal is entirely free of charge to authors, regardless of their nationality, institutional affiliation, or funding status.
No Charges to Readers
As a fully open access journal, the International Journal of Computer Engineering and Embedded Technologies also does not charge readers, libraries, or institutions any fee for access to published content. All articles are freely and permanently available to any reader without subscription, registration, or payment of any kind.
No Influence on Editorial Decisions
Since no fee is charged at any stage, the journal's editorial and peer review process is entirely free of financial influence. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scientific merit, originality, and technical quality, with no financial relationship between the author and the journal at any point in the process.
Sustainability of the Journal
The costs associated with editorial management, peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, DOI assignment, and long-term digital archiving are met through means other than author-facing charges. The journal remains committed to sustaining a fee-free publishing model for both authors and readers as a core part of its editorial identity.
No Hidden Charges
The journal does not levy any hidden, indirect, or optional charges connected to the publication process. There is no submission fee, no processing fee, no acceptance fee, and no fee for expedited handling. This applies uniformly to all manuscripts submitted to the journal.
Commitment to Transparency
The journal is committed to making this no-fee policy clearly and prominently visible on its website, ensuring that all prospective authors are fully informed, prior to submission, that publication in the journal carries no financial obligation whatsoever, in line with the fee transparency standards expected by DOAJ, Scopus, and Web of Science.
