Aim

The International Journal of Computer Engineering and Embedded Technologies aims to provide a rigorous, international platform for the dissemination of high-quality, original research in the fields of computer engineering and embedded systems. The journal seeks to advance the theoretical foundations, design methodologies, and practical applications of embedded and computing technologies, while fostering collaboration among researchers, academicians, engineers, and industry practitioners worldwide. The journal is committed to publishing work that demonstrates technical rigor, originality, and genuine contribution to the advancement of the field, in line with the standards expected by international abstracting and indexing bodies, including Scopus and Web of Science.

Scope

The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, and technical case studies within, but not limited to, the following areas of computer engineering and embedded technologies:

Embedded Systems Design and Architecture — including system-level design methodologies, embedded hardware and firmware architecture, and embedded software development.

Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, and FPGA-Based Systems — including processor architecture, instruction set design, and field-programmable gate array applications.

Scope Boundaries

To maintain a focused and specialized editorial identity, the journal restricts its scope strictly to computer engineering and embedded technologies. Manuscripts addressing unrelated disciplines, or areas of computer science and engineering that fall outside the domain of embedded systems and hardware-oriented computing, such as general software engineering, pure data science, or unrelated fields of engineering, do not fall within the journal's scope and are not considered for publication.

Interdisciplinary Contributions

While the journal maintains a focused scope, it welcomes interdisciplinary research where computer engineering and embedded technologies are applied to solve real-world problems in adjacent domains, provided the core technical contribution remains grounded in computer engineering or embedded systems design.
